Randomness

Is randomness even a word?! Ha! There really was no purpose for this post tonight, but I did want to show you some pictures from the last few days. I really do have an obsession with taking pictures, but one day I will thank myself! My babies are growing up way too fast!!

Anyway, Gracie got 2 tutu's for her birthday, and she LOVES to wear them! (without a shirt, the child would be naked 24/7 if I let her) She also got a box of Barbie dress up clothes from Aunt Mary that she loves!

Sunday when we were getting ready for church, I realized the kids matched even though I was really planning that, so I had to get a pic of them!

Oh yeah- praise......Dr. Guinter is back to work! I called today to make check-up appointments for both kids with another doctor, and the girl said "Do you want to see Dr. Guinter?, he came back this week!" Yeah!!!

Hot Summer Days, and a Birthday Girl!

We had fun week of movies and swimming, and anniversaries and birthday parties! Monday the kids played in the back yard in the slip and slide, sand box and our little pool. Wednesday we went to see "Tale of Desperaux", and Thursday we went swiming at Wendi's; which was great fun except for the fact that I stuck my hand in a wasp nest and they decided to attack me and leave me with 5 STINGS!!! I truly thought I might die!!! If all the kids had not been staring at me, there would have been some serious crying!! Gracie was putting the diving squids on my stomach saying "this feel better ,Mommy??". So Sweet! Both of my kids are usually very concerned when other people are hurt, Weston- not so much this time since he had a friend swimming with him. I'm not even sure he knew what was going on!

Anyway, Friday night Hale and I took the kids to Mom and Dad's and went on a date!! Can't tell you how long it has been since we went to a "big people" movie and out to dinner without the kids! We went to see "The Hangover" (which was hilarious!!!) and then went to dinner at On The Border, it was so yummy!! Weston spent the night with Mom & Dad, but Gracie decided she needed Mommy, so we picked her up on the way home.

This morning was Gracie's birthday party at the sprinkler park! It was fun for the kids, but so hot!!! She was so excited, and after she opened her gifts, she was done and ready to come home and play with them! I can't believe my baby will be 3 years old! (July 2nd) She has grown up way too fast!!

10 Years Ago Today.......

Can't believe it has been 10 years! I remember thinking how our 10 year anniversary seemed forever away. Sometimes it seems like yesterday, and then when I look at old pictures (we have been together 15 years) it seems like so long ago!

Hale is such a great husband and daddy! Even though I probably nag and complain (ha ha) more than he would like, he really helps me more than I give him credit for! He is always there for me, and loves me like noone else!

Daddy's Day

We had a nice Father's Day today---I hope Hale did!! We went to church this morning, then to eat lunch at O'Charley's with Mom and Dad, Kevin, Julie and Jackson. It was yummy, and both kids ate ALL their food which never happens! I think Hale was pretty proud of his Father's Day gift, and I actually surprised him for once! (he always guesses and it drives me crazy!!) We got him a book called "Razorback Vault". It's all about Arkansas football, from the beginning until 2007, it's really neat. The kids made him pictures; Weston likes to draw pictures and then cut them out in pieces and(try to) put them back together! It was really cute! I know I don't tell Hale nearly enough how much it means to me what a great Daddy he is! I love you Honey!! Thank you for all your help, and sweet time you spend with the kids, thank you for working so hard so I can stay home with our "babies", and thank you for getting up early with Gracie (at the crack of dawn) so I can sleep in a little longer!(i love that) You are the best, WE LOVE YOU!!!

Here are a few pics from this weekend. Weston got a (little) skateboard Friday when we went to Target, so he had to try it out when we got home. Of course, Gracie had to try , too!!

No Title Day

Not alot going on here, just a few pictures to share! We have been hanging out at home this week-kids playing, probably watching way too much tv, all while I have been on a mission of catching up on laundry and trying really hard to keep my house clean!!!! I don't know about ya'll, but when it's time to clean up around here, all of a sudden Weston says " do I have to?", and Gracie says "but my really really tired". Someday if I ever have a day at home alone there will be some bags of toys on their way to Goodwill!!

Anyway, here are a few pics from the last few days, and yes--I do take pictures everyday-HA! We have been talking to Gracie about taking dance in the fall, so she has been wearing one of Paige's old outfits dancing the house, and playing with her babies alot, it's soooo cute! (and Vic--she still LOVES her Bitty Baby!)

Weston loves being home, he talked me into making brownies (and of course they had to lick the spoons), and that was 2 days ago and there are only 3 left! The boy LOVES anything sweet!!

Hale is at softball, so I'm gonna go watch my shows, got alot of catching up to do!

Sunny Day

We finally had a nice day today, NO RAIN....YEAH!!! The weekend wasn't so great. We had some really bad weather! I took the kids to the water park today for the 1st time this summer. They had a lot of fun, although Weston doesn't think it's fun to go anywhere without a friend. He said "you mean just we are going?" He ended up having fun, Gracie hung on to his arm the whole time! It was kinda cute! She used to never want to hold anybody's hand, now it's like she is scared she is going to get lost or something. Tommorrow we are going to the movie to see "A Veggie Tale Movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything". I LOVE the summer $2 movie! Even better when I take capri suns and some candy from Walmart, and Gracie is really still only 2, so we can all 3 go to the movie for $4!!!

VBS Week

We have had a great week at VBS. Weston can actually participate this year, he has had sooo much fun! Today was "Kooky Hair Day" so Weston had a green mohawk, and Gracie had lots of green ponytails! Tonight was Family Night so we all went to that. The theme is "Boomerang Express, It All Comes Back to Jesus". They sang some really great songs, and gave out some prizes, then there were moon bounces for the kids. Wendy (our Children's Ministry Director) said that there have been about 450 kids and adults, and 13 kids were saved!!!! VBS is alot of work, but it is sooo worth it when you hear that!

My Babies

I took the kids to get pictures made Friday, and I LOVE THEM! They did better than they ever have, I was so excited! I decided to go ahead and do Weston's 6yr old Gracie's 3yr old pics in between their birthdays. I can't believe how big my babies are getting!

We are having a nice weekend! Hope ya'll are,too!

It's Summertime!

Today was our first official day of summer! It was so nice not to have to get up and rush around getting everybody dressed and fixing lunches! This summer has a different meaning to me than all the others. Summer used to be just another day, but I am so excited to have the kids HOME with me everyday and not at school!! They are growing up so fast-only 2 more years with Gracie and then she'll be off to kindergarten! So sad!!! I have to admit though, I will miss my time while Gracie was napping, catching up on my shows!(One Life to Live, Jon & Kate, The Bachelorette)
I am hoping to do some fun stuff with the kids this summer! We are going to the movies twice this week, VBS next week, swimming at Wendi's, playing at Jennifer's alot, Gracie's 3rd Birthday,(wow!), visiting the Pink Palace, maybe the zoo, and hopefully one more trip to the beach before school starts again!
