Beautiful Day

I have already posted once today, but we had such a nice afternoon at Mom and Dad's I thought I would post again with some sweet pictures. We don't see Jackson much, but Kevin and Julie came over to Mom's for Weston's birthday. Aunt Darlean, Sophie Claire & Noah, and Aunt Mary came too, the kids had fun playing and eating cookie cake & ice cream! Weston also tried his skates again, he did much better this time! And of course, anything Weston does, Gracie has to do, too!

Nothin' Like Home

We are home, and oh how good it felt to sleep in OUR bed last night! We had such a great time, but the sleeping arrangements were not the most comfortable! Hale woke up several mornings with Weston's feet on his head! All the way home, Gracie said "my go back to the beachouse", and Weston would say, "me too Gracie, but we have to go home now"! They had so much fun, I am so glad we can go on family vacations! I have such good memories of going to the beach, Opryland, and Dogpatch U.S.A! Did ya'll ever go there? It was so fun!!

Happy Birthday Weston!

Well, 6 years ago today, at 3:57 pm to be exact, God gave us a gift that changed us forever!Weston was the sweetest, happiest baby! Today he is still soooo sweet, happy, funny, wild, loud, and so loving! He keeps us laughing, and loves Gracie so much! (even when she's not so sweet) I asked him if I could blink my eyes and turn him back into a 2 year old, and he said "you can try, Mom"! I can't believe it's been 6 years, sometimes it seems like forever ago, but then it seems like yesterday when I look back at pictures! I wish I could freeze them both at this age, they're so much fun! Weston loves : Ben 10, video games, reading, CLIMBING, playing outside, BBQ chips, McDonalds Happy Meals, Root Beer, peanuts, his friends Paige, Matthew, Dylan, Brooklyn, Riley, swimming, movies, Spongebob, super heroes, helping Daddy,snuggling, playing "tickle monster", candy and gum, and more!

We are still at the beach, but we're leaving in the morning! We celebrated Weston's Birthday here today, but his party is next weekend! Here are a few pics from today!

Another Day at the Beach!

We have had a really fun day today! We went to "The Track" to celebrate Weston's birthday a little early, (it's friday but we knew the track would be crazy on a friday) the kids had a great time! I thought Gracie may be scared to ride the go carts and stuff but she loved it! Weston loves it there, he and Hale had fun squirting us in the bumper boats!

We have been taking the kids crab hunting at night, but last night was a little traumatic! We had been down at the water about 10 monutes and Paige says "A CRAB JUST CLIPPED MY FOOT!!" Jennifer goes over there and sure enough, she was bleeding! Well, that was enough to scare the rest of the little kids! Hale stayed out with Carson(Jennifer's niece) and Sam(Ivie's friends daughter) to let them find some more crabs! Other than that we have had lots of fun, not ready for Saturday to some yet!

Lovin' the beach!!

We are having a great time at the beach! The weather was horrible when we first got here, but it's beautiful now! The kids are loving the sand, (unlike last year) and they have found lots of crabs!! Here are a few pics from the last few days!

One More Day!!!

We leave tomorrow afternoon for Florida, and I still have sooo much to do! Now is the time because Hale is cutting the grass, and the kids went to Piccadilly with Mom and Dad, So yes, i should be packing instead of playing on the computer! The kids are sooo excited about vacation this year, so that makes it even more fun! There will be 13 of us (including 5 small kids) in the beach house, so I am sure there will be some excitement- I will probably post a few times while we are gone, and share some pictures too! We are praying for a safe trip, and healthy kids!

5 More Days....

We had a really nice weekend, and now we are counting the days until we leave for vacation!! Yesterday we got to see my friend Stephanie from high school!(who now lives in Colombus, OH)Her dad still has a tent at BBQ fest and they come "home" every year in May. We had a good time seeing her and her family. Friday night Weston had a t-ball game, and he is really getting good!! He actually likes going, unlike last year when all he wanted to do was play in the dirt and act like he couldn't run fast! Anyone who knows Weston knows he is small, but really quick! And oh yeah, Me and Jennifer actually went to the movie yesterday, we saw "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past"-- It was really cute!

I am really excited that it is almost summer, but can't believe my kids will be 6 and 3! WOW- where does the time go? It seems like yesterday when we brought Gracie home from the hospital(after 8 days in the NICU), and Weston was so excited and said "Hi Gacie, (he could not say Gracie) I'm your big brother! It was soo sweet. They love each other so much!

Well, I've got lots to do so I better get busy! Also, please keep our Pediatrition, Dr. Guinter, in your prayers. He had mouth cancer several years back, and it has returned. He will need extensive surgery and will probably be out for a while! We LOVE him, and pray he will be okay. He is a very sweet, Christian man.
