our life right now

This blog is like a big baby book for me, or like our little family journal. I blog so much about Chloe, I guess just because she changes so much so fast. But my big babies are doing so much right now, and they are growing up too quickly. I feel like I need to write everyday the funny things they say and do.

my sweet boy: Weston is 8, and I swear sometimes I look at him and I just want to cry because I know in the blink of an eye, he will be a teenager and he won't think his mom is cool :( And of course I think he is the most handsome boy ever. Weston still sleeps in the bed with us, crazy I know. The poor child is scared of his own shadow. We are working on getting bunk beds and going back to his room. He falls asleep every night holding my hand. He loves his daddy. He is so kind hearted, and thinks so deeply. Sometimes he is selfish just like any other kid, but he is so sweet, and all I have to do is remind him how lucky and blessed he is. He loves Jesus, and can't fathom why everyone doesn't. He likes to climb, and play hard. He is taking gymnastics and is awesome at it. He loves his teacher, but doesn't love school. I love my sweet boy more than words. My first baby.

my first baby girl: Gracie is 5 going on 15. The last 5 1/2 years flew by so fast, sometimes I have trouble believing it. Gracie is our quiet and sweet but strong-willed girl. She is a great sleeper and has been since the day she was born. She and I butt heads quite a bit. I am told that is what girls do to their mommas. She is SO shy, and it takes all we have to get her to loosen up and have fun. Gracie loves clothes, and right now, her favorite thing to wear is tennis shoes and "exercize clothes". She is very dramatic, but only at home. She is a sweet , sweet girl, and I hope she still loves us when she is a teenager. (I am scared of those years.) Gracie takes gymnastics and LOVES it so much. She can't wait for Mondays. She loves school and her teacher, and she is a Daddy's girl no doubt. She had her first sleepover this weekend. Kinda sad for me, but she was so excited. It makes me so happy for her to get excited over things. I love my big girl, and I pray we will be best friends one day.

my bitty girl: Chloe is our baby. She is alomost 2, but thinks she is grown. She is feisty, beautiful and strong-willed like her sister, and wild and loving like her brother. Great combination if you ask me :) Chloe is a HUGE personality in a tiny little body. She climbs on everything, gives the biggest "squeezy" hugs, and loves her momma. She doesn't like to eat or sleep, and is by far my most high maintenence child. We can't get enough of her, and she makes all of us laugh everday. God knew what he was doing when he completed our family. We can't even remember what life was like before her.
