favorite pictureS friday.....on saturday

I am SO stinkin' tired these days, that I forget to blog. That's sad, i know! I did find some cd's today with some pictures from 2007/2008, and i seriously can't believe how much my kids have grown up! I couldn't decide on one favorite so I picked a few! My babies are not babies anymore! We ARE really excited about the new baby! Even though I had gotten rid of almost everything.......I am so thankful for my friends! My friend Heather had a friend that was moving a getting rid of tons of stuff, and she GAVE me a crib and changing table! WooHoo!! If this baby is a girl, I still have Gracie's bedding.....and kicking myself for not keeping Weston's, it was so cute!! Anyway, God is Good...and we are very blessed!!

milestones.....

Yesterday was the day...Weston finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels! WOO HOO!! He was so proud of himself too! He got a new bike back in the spring that he loves, but it's a little tall, so he has been practicing on his old bike. My boy is growing up! Now we just wait for the day he loses a tooth. That will the end of his world I am pretty sure! The boy is not a fan of pain or blood! We had a pretty lazy weekend. We cooked out with Jennifer & Nick Sat. night and the kids played hard. Yesterday we were terrible a missed church. I seriously just did not want to get up and get ready to go anywhere. I've got a busy week getting my classroom ready at school, we have open house next week....lots to do.

Here is my favorite picture of the week. I may be a little partial, but these are some pretty cute kiddos!

I need to scan some "old" pictures from when they were babies, those are some of my very favorites. Most of them are on cd's, but I didn't have a digital camera when Weston was a baby. Times have changed, ya know! We are spoiled people!!

happy surprises...

I am excited to say that we will be welcoming blessing #3 to our family the beginning of April!
This was a surprise, but a happy one! The kids are very excited, and all the sudden I am a nervous wreck! I know it will work out fine, and God always provides. I am a planner, AND a worrier. I went to the doctor yesterday, Hale went with me, too. He had to leave for a work trip right after the appointment. I am 6 weeks and 4 days, we think. I will go back in 3 weeks for an ultrasound. It's funny because we have been discussing this "baby #3" thing for a while, and had mixed feelings. I guess God had plans already, and I am so happy!

randomness....and NO FEVER

I am excited to say that my Gracie is finally fever free!! Yes, I know it was only 2 1/2 days, but trust me... it has felt like way more that! And also, Weston is happy about school! Yea!! Of course, he would rather be at home all day, but atleast he isn't crying. Also, I have exciting news...my best friend Jennifer is pregnant with #3, and just found out it's a GIRL!! Yea, Stella Grace will be here around Christmas! Hopefully after, atleast that is Jennifer's "plan". Our kids are really close, so they will be excited to have a baby to play with. Me too!! Little stella just may solve my "baby fever" problem! Ha!
I haven't taken many pictures this week, since Weston has been at school, and everytime Gracie sees me with the camera she says"no mommy, my sick!", and hides her face so I can't take a picture of her! I'll have some soon though, I can't go long without new pictures!

first day was a SUCCESS!

Praise God, Weston's first day of 1st grade was GREAT!!! Last night I wasn't so sure I would be able to say that today. He was really sad! To add to my stress....Gracie woke up at 10 o'clock last night with 101.6 fever!! AAAHHH!!! So, needless to say, I got no sleep!! Gracie is better at this moment because her fever is down. I took her to Dr. Guinter just knowing she had strep throat. Oh no...the hated virus you can do NOTHING about! Poor baby!

Anyway, when I picked Weston up, he said he had a GREAT day!! Music to my ears!!

We have a really busy weekend, and I can't believe I forgot Favorite Picture Friday!! Oh well--I'll catch up next week!

Tomorrow is the big...dreaded day....first day of school! Weston is no where near excited! The boy LOVES to be at home!! We ( me and Gracie) are really gonna miss him bieng home with us all day. His teacher is new to CES this year so I don't know her, but she seemed really nice on the phone. I do know that he has atleast 1 good friend in his class so that is good. Please pray that he does not have a total breakdown in the morning! I am so worried!!

I have got lots to do today, but I'll post a few pics tomorrow night!

vacations are the BEST!!!

back to life, back to reality....

Well, we had a good trip home, and now it's back to the real world!! I am really sad that school starts back next week. I know some moms are so ready for school to start, but I am sooo NOT!!! We have had a great summer and it went by way too fast. Gracie is going to miss Weston so much next week!! Atleast she and I will have a little time together, I feel like I don't spend as much "sweet" time with her as I did with Weston when he was her age. I guess that "mommy guilt" thing never goes away! Hale is going to stay home a little later in the morning so I can go register Weston, then we are off to the allergist to see if we can stop allergy shots!! Do you KNOW how excited I will be? OH My GOSH!! Weston has been getting them for 3 1/2 years now, and they helped soooooo much! I just think he has grown out of alot his allergy/asthma problems, so I am praying that our sweet little Dr. Levy will say "no more shots"!!!
I will post a few more pictures from our vacation later! I am sad it's over! Now we can look forward to next years' vacation.....DISNEYWORLD!!!!!! If anyone has any good advice or info on planning this Disney trip, I'm gonna need it!!
